"I remember the first time Ryan attended camp. I was so nervous to leave him for the two weeks at camp with people other than relatives. After meeting the staff, I was much more comfortable with my decision for him to attend camp. The ratio of campers to counselors is great. The counselors are very attentive to the children and truly seem to love the time they spend with them, which is very important to me. Their days and nights are filled with fun. I have another child and with Ryan away at camp, it gives us a chance to do the things that Ryan does not enjoy to do. I know that Ryan has a great time at camp and he looks forward to the next session of camp.
If he is happy, then so am I. Isn't that what we want for our special needs children-fun and happiness?
